A Few of My Favorite Things

If you’ve been with Whiskers on Kittens for any length of time, you’ll have noticed that there are sections that I cycle through. For example, last week Monday I did a Books to Love post and on Friday I did a Films to Love post. Books to Love posts, quite evidently, revolve around books that I’ve read and loved and want to share with you. In a similar vein, Films to Love contain movies that I’ve enjoyed so much I want to pass on the fun. Well, today I’m announcing the launch of a new section here at Whiskers called A Few of My Favorite Things, which is perfectly in keeping with Oscar Hammerstein II and Richard Rodgers’ lyrics that inspired the title of this blog.

What will you find in this new section?

Well, you’ll find me waxing on about A Few of My Favorite Things. As I’ve got sections devoted to books, movies, music, and lines (quotes), A Few of My Favorite Things will contain more ordinary, everyday items and such that make my life easier and happier. Since I’m in the full-on nesting period, there might be a post about how I’m approaching organizing cabinets to have more room for baby when he comes. As I enjoy a great deal of time in my kitchen cooking and baking, I’ll be sharing favorite recipes (my own personal creations along with links to other bloggers who’ve inspired me immensely) and favorite kitchen items. But, I’m sure I’ll also be sharing many other favorite things from household products to clothing items to everyday hacks that have made mine and my family’s lives so much easier.

And, please, in any A Few of My Favorite Things post, I will love to hear your feedback- whether you tried a tip that really helped you out or if you have an idea or hack of your own that you want to share. It’s welcome here.
